3 Easy Steps For A Goddess Bikini Body!

By  |

Most people are thinking that Summer is here so you’ve ran out of time to prepare your body for bikini wearing… wrong!

It’s never too late to get fit and toned! Obviously you can help by not chowing down chocolate all day, every day and even if you’re not used to exercising, try power walking to start with and see how you get on with that. There’s always time and a solution to  making yourself look and feel fitter!

Follow my 3 steps below and you’ll be looking like a Goddess in no time! If you’re going on holiday next week or in a few days time, try and follow it for a few days beforehand and you’ll feel so much better and confident wearing your swimsuit! The longer you can practice these steps before you wear a bikini, the better but not all of us have the time, so like I mentioned, a few days will suffice!

1. Cut down on high sodium foods

We all need a little salt in our diet but try your best to cut down. I know that may seem simple but it’s not, I know. If you know you’re going on holiday or going to be wearing a bikini on a certain day, then plan your meals if you can. Avoid soy sauce, ketchup or any sauces/dressings that have a lot of salts in it. Don’t cut it completely from your diet, just lower your intake.

Quick Tip: If you feel you have had too much salt, try eating a banana or drink some coconut oil. These are rich in potassium and help harmonise salt levels.

2. Take it slow, no need to rush

Don’t rush eating your food. You need to chew you food as many times as you can. This way it won’t bloat you and the food digests quicker. It also stops gas from building up.

3. Try to reduce your intake of bloating foods

This is a hard one but if your determined to do it, you can. These tend to be heavy foods such as bread, pasta, rice… basically carbs! We need a certain amount of carbohydrates to get our bodies working but try not to eat a lot.
Here are a few tips to help you along the way:
  • Try adding lemon to your water. This will help detox your body, help  with digesting your food and you will feel great.
  • Grab some peppermint tea and drink on an evening. This will also help with digesting and if you’ve had a hard day at school/college or work, this will relieve your stress too!
  • Ever thought about adding ginger to your drinks or meals? You can add it to your juice and it tasted lovely with vegetables. Try it and see.
  • If you’re having a BBQ, throw on the asparagus. This is great for reducing the extra water weight in your body.

Try these steps and see how quickly you’re feel energised, fresh, lively and notice how your body looks fab and remember to drink hydrated by drinking plenty of water!
